Do you want to have a fun weekend exploring the wide variety of creative expression possible with acrylic paints?

This two-day workshop invites you to explore creative and expressive ways to use acrylic paint while working in a loose and abstract style.

You will focus on developing dynamic brushwork and paint handling techniques to add energy and a personal touch to your paintings.

Through guided instruction, you will deepen your understanding of value and color harmony, using photographs or your imagination as inspiration.

A bonus, foolproof method for achieving color harmony will also be shared.

This workshop is appropriate for beginners to intermediate artists & those who want to explore painting in a new way.

In this 2-day workshop, you will get an overview of this wonderful medium.

Students will provide their own photographic reference materials to compose a painting.

Color, composition, design, value, light patterns, and underpainting techniques
will be discussed as will the qualities of specific brands of acrylics.

This workshop is appropriate for beginners to intermediate students with some drawing experience
who are looking to expand and understand acrylic works.
This workshop is also perfect for you if you want to loosen up, and enjoy the process of painting.
