This piece, Shifting Shapes, is a 10" x 8" abstract painting that plays with color and form. It features leaf-like shapes in blue and green, dancing against a soft green background, inspired by the cacti I saw around the hotel while teaching a workshop in the Cinque Terre in Italy. With acrylics, I blended nature and abstraction to create a sense of movement and connection to the environment.
