Abstract Landscapes

Although, my artwork has never been a total reproduction of what I see. The paintings that I have been making most recently are becoming more and more abstract. Often, I may begin with a completely abstract non-representational painting, and that painting turns into an abstracted landscape. 

I strive to boil down the essence of what it is that moves me in nature.  I express the emotions that I derive from being outdoors among the trees.
