While teaching a workshop in southern France, my students were tasting wine. I, on the other hand, was taken by the landscape. I took multiple photographs of the land around the wineries to make paintings when I returned back home. The wine could wait, the sunlight would go quickly! "Near Winery" is 10 x 10 inches, and is framed in a wide, silver-leaf wooden frame. The glass used is museum glass, which is virtually reflection free and has a UV protection.
