I was fascinated with the tree growing in such a precarious way, and the shadows that that same tree cast on the pathway. The shadows reminded me a bit of spokes from a bicycle. This pastel painting is framed in a wide, silver-leaf wooden frame using museum glass which is the best glass available. Museum glass has virtually no reflection and a U/V protection.
