This painting was made during a workshop that I was teaching in Tuscany in 2019. The weather was threatening and we didn't have lots of time. I had planned to paint the gorgeous mountains, but looked to my left and saw these wonderful grasses. Stopped in my tracks, I moved my easel and quickly captured this colorful painting.

This pastel painting is framed in a black transitional wooden frame using museum glass which is the finest glass you can buy. It has virtually no reflection and a UV protection.
