I made a conscious decision to make my art more abstract and colorful in 2019. While making those changes, I started this piece as an abstract. I began by using black acrylic gesso and 4-colors of acrylic paint, and finished with oil. As you can see the abstract painting turned into an abstracted landscape. I love the color combination and the loose quality of this piece. Swimming into Focus is such a popular painting that many requested a reproduction. You asked, and I listened.
