Those who know me know that I was not always encouraged in my artistic pursuits. The discouragement in my early years can sometimes still haunt me, so when I am accepted into an organization that I admire, I want to shout it from the mountaintops. Consider this posting my shout of happiness. They like me, they really like me! Lynn, Congratulations! This recognition is exciting and so well deserved but not at all surprising to those of us who have long recognized your talent and the warmth and appeal of your beautiful work.

Exciting news! I've just been accepted into the Washington Society of Landscape Painters (WSLP), a dream of mine for years! 🎉 This exclusive group, limited to just 40 members, is filled with talented artists I've admired for over a decade. Now, I'll be joining their plein air excursions and exhibiting my work alongside these incredible painters. Huge thanks to my sponsor, Trisha Adams, for helping me through the process. This acceptance feels like a true validation of my art, and I'm beyond thrilled!
